Henrik is responsible for the daily operation and development of HAE International. He joined HAEi as the Executive Director in 2009 after having been a member of the Executive Committee for five years. Before joining HAEi, Henrik held several sales management positions in global corporations.
President of HAE International
Tony is a co-founder of HAEi and has been President since the organization’s inception. He also serves as the President of the US HAE Association and on the Board of Directors of the National Organization for Rare Diseases. He dedicated much of his life to driving improvement in HAE care and remains highly motivated by the challenge of global HAE advocacy.
Hungarian HAE Center at Semmelweis University, Budapest, Hungary
Henriette Farkas is Professor of Allergology and Clinical Immunology at Semmelweis University in Budapest. She has been working as the director of the Hungarian Hereditary Angioedema Center. She is a member of the Committee of the Hungarian Allergy and Clinical Immunology Society, Medical Advisory Board of HAEi, and the member of WAO Steering Committee for Angioedema. Henriette is a founder of famous International C1-INH Deficiency Workshop in Budapest, as well as HAENETWORK Project. Her research is focused on the different types of angioedema. Professor Farkas received many national and international awards, like “Jendrassik” Award in 2005 and L’Oréal-UNESCO Awards for Women in Science’ in 2013.

Professor Tomasz Grodzicki is a specialist in internal medicine, geriatrics and hypertensiology, holding the title of European Specialist on Hypertension. Since 2001 he has been the head of the Internal Medicine and Geriatrics Department of the Jagiellonian University’s Collegium Medicum Faculty of Medicine and the head of the Internal Medicine Clinical Ward of the University Hospital in Cracow. In the years 2002-2014 he was the national consultant in the field of geriatrics, between 2006-2008 he was the President of the National Executive Council of the Polish Society of Hypertension. He has co-authored about 200 publications in the field of hypertension, geriatrics and cardiology, including several handbooks. Professor Grodzicki is a member of many scientific and social organizations: Scientific Council of the Ministry of Health, Committee for Clinical Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences, National Executive Council of the Polish Society of Hypertension, European Academy for Medicine of Aging as well as Management Board of the European Union Geriatric Medicine Society. He is also a corresponding member of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Anders Minken graduated from the Department of Medicine at Bergen University in 1970. He is a Norwegian medical doctor specialized in psychiatry and psychology. He has been practising at the different institutions for more than 40 years, mostly within Oslo area. He also has been involved in sports at the international level and for many years he has been a national team coach and mental trainer for top athletes. He is recognized as an excellent personal motivator. For the last 7 years he has been involved with HAE, focusing on a mental side of the patients.

Professor Krystyna Obtułowicz graduated from the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, and she has been committed to her Alma Mater ever since. She is the allergist and the internal medicine consultant. She had been the founder and the head of the Clinical Allergology Department at the Jagiellonian University from 1994 to 2011. She used to be the Regional Allergology Advisor, as well as the head of the Chair of Toxicology and Environmental Diseases at the Jagiellonian University in the period of 2006-2011. In addition to the conventional interest in the range of allergic diseases, Professor Obtułowicz’s extraordinary passion has become an immune-mediated disease Hereditary Angioedema, and she is widely considered as the creator of the Polish school of HAE and the most experienced national expert in this background. Also, she is the originator of Polish National Hereditary Angioedema Center at the Clinical Allergology Center in the University Hospital in Kraków. Professor Obtułowicz has authored more than 300 publications as regards issues of allergology and HAE. She is a member of the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI), Polish Society of Allergology, European Hereditary Angioedema International Working Group, Polish Association of Preventing from Allergic Diseases and Honorary Member of the Polish Association of Angioedema Patients’ Aid.

Mr. Pawel Przewiezlikowski, co-founded Selvita in 2007 and is the Chief Executive Officer of the company, responsible for strategic management, business and corporate development. He is also the President of Supervisory Board at Ardigen and Chief Executive of BioCentrum, Selvita’s daughter companies.
Mr. Przewiezlikowski is a member of the Economic Council of the Malopolska (Krakow) region. He was awarded Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta for his contributions to the development of Poland’s business environment, as well as, EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2015 award in the New Technologies/Innovation category in Poland.
From 1994 to 2007 he worked at Comarch, a Polish information technology company. As a management board member since 1996, he was responsible for the divisions offering solutions for the pharmaceutical, banking, manufacturing and services industries and took part in the organic transformation of a university spin-off to the largest organically grown IT company in Central and Eastern Europe, employing over 2 700 people in 20 countries. In 1999-2007 he was also the co-founder, the first CEO and then the Vice President of the Supervisory Board of Interia.pl, the third largest Internet portal in Poland.
Mr. Przewiezlikowski holds an MBA from the joint program of the Teesside University (United Kingdom) and Krakow School of Economics (Poland) as well as master degree in computer science from AGH Technical University in Krakow. He also studied IT at the Technical University in Berlin.

Professor Riedl is the Professor of Medicine, Clinical Director of the US HAEA Angioedema Center at the University of California – San Diego, and the Training Program Director for the Allergy & Immunology fellowship program. Professor Riedl directs the clinical services of the Hereditary Angioedema Center and leads the Center’s active clinical research program. His professional focus is on angioedema conditions and primary immunodeficiency, and clinical pharmacology. Professor Riedl is an international thought leader in hereditary angioedema, has conducted research funded by multiple federal, state, and private agencies, and is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the US Hereditary Angioedema Association and for the HAE International.

Michał Rutkowski graduated from the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning at the Technology University in Kraków, as well as he received post-graduate diplomas at the Jagiellonian University in Kraków and at the Cracow University of Economics. He is a co-founder and President of the Polish Association of Angioedema Patients’ Aid ‘Swelling Beautifully’, and diagnosed patient with HAE type I. Michal Rutkowski has been involved in HAE advocacy for over 13 years, initially in his home country, and since 2011 internationally, representing HAE International as a Vice President. In early 2016, he was appointed as a Regional Patient Advocate, responsible for Central and Eastern Europe. Outside of Patients’ Advocacy activities, he deals professionally with architecture and automotive. Michał Rutkowski is a member of National Chamber of Architects, International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), European Motorcycling Federation (FIM Europe) and board member of Polish Automobile and Motorcycling Federation. His long-time commitment and significant activities in motorcycling sport were recognized in 2012, and he was honored, by the President of the Republic of Poland, with the Silver Cross of Merit.

Marcin Stobiecki, MD, PhD, graduated from the Medical College of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków. He is the allergist, the internal medicine consultant and the adjunct faculty at the Department of Clinical Allerology of the Jagiellonian University. He also works at the Clinical Allergology Center at University Hospital in Krakow and at the Polish National Hereditary Angioedema Center, where for over twenty years he has been diagnosing and treating patients with HAE. Marcin Stobiecki is a member of both, the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology (EAACI) and the Polish Society of Allergology. He has authored and co-authored of over 35 publications regarding issues of allergology, as well as Hereditary Angioedema, which is his main clinical interests. Marcin Stobiecki has been main researcher and co-researcher in many clinical trials, whose effectiveness contributed to the creation of modern HAE therapies for the patients.
